The Life of a Thrift Shopper

By Zack Schaefer

Why thrift shop? It's a valid question. Thrift shopping is an acquired taste, to say the least. It requires a specific brand of person, those who not only can deal with the inherent grunginess involved, but thrive on it. Plenty of people aren't cut out for it.

Filmmaker Brings Beatles Tune to Life with New Music Video

By Raleigh Keagan

Going to the movies has been a desirable pastime for over 100 years, music videos have acquired their own fleet of television stations, and the Beatles are regarded as one of the most influential bands of all time. The obvious question here is why, before now, has no one had the idea to meld these three powerful mediums together.

Tales of an "Octagon Girl"

By Amy S. Julian

Hello. My name is Amy Julian and I'm addicted to the UFC. Phew, admittance of your addiction really is a big step. From the looks of me, I might not seem like your average UFC fan, and it's not because of my fashion choices or affinity for dressing up, it's because I'm a woman.

The largest alternative energy and transportation festival on the east coast was held this past weekend at Boston's City Hall Plaza. The Shadows All Around Us

A couple of weeks ago I broke my glasses. I could barely see a thing. It was strange; as I made my way across campus on those sunny days I focused on the shadows that stretched across the concrete tiles of the plaza. I couldn't really tell one person from another so I didn't see the need to look at hazy unrecognizable faces.

They go by the name Trapt and they fit somewhere between Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boy. Now, if you're teeny bopper, you might like the catchy beats and synthesized vocals.

India

By Ben Whelan

Tucked away in a small downstairs location, India Quality has been a Kenmore Square institution since it opened in October of 1982 when then-chef and current owner Parmjit Singh first began serving his unique brand of authentic, northern Indian cuisine. Upon descending the stairs into the restaurant, our first impression was that of entering someone's home, only enhanced by Mr.

UM'be' Mine

Dear UMBemine, Ive been dating this guy for about a month and things are going great, the only problem being that he is chronically late and flaky. It also wouldn't be so bad if he called or something to let me know, but he doesn't do that either. I know it's a little thing, but it really bugs me and I've talked to him about it and nothing has changed.
